TV host Robert Alleva interacts with ‘world’s oldest crocodile’ in viral video

Robert Alleva, a popular TV personality and co-host of Kings of Pain, shared a video of himself interacting with a colossal Nile crocodile, Henry. The 124-year-old reptile, believed to be the oldest of its kind, was featured in the viral clip documented at Crocworld Conservation Centre in South Africa.
The video, which has clocked over five million views, begins with Alleva attempting to get closer to Henry, the world’s oldest crocodile. As he approaches, Henry opens his mouth wide with a roar.
Alleva then says, “This feels amazing. I haven’t felt scared in a long time, but right now, this feels incredible.”
“Ever since I saw Steve Backshall with Henry, I’ve wanted to meet this Nile croc. Wellâ€æ.be careful what you wish for!! I was as intimidated as I was fascinated!! Henry is reported to be the oldest known croc in the world, born in 1900. That’s right, he’s soon to have his 124th birthday. Big thanks to Croworld Conservation Centre for letting me get hands on this breathtaking reptile! The viral video has triggered a discussion online as several users praised Alleva’s bravery, while others voiced concern over how close he got to the ancient predator.
