    Description

    Vintage woven straw, shell and feather hand fan. 12 1/2" X 8 1/2". The handle shows wear which you can see in the third picture.  Purchased in Hawaii in the 90's......Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.  This is a beautiful hand fan. I was told that it was made circa 1970-1980's on the Marshall Islands, Micronesia.  Made from palm tree fronds cut into very thin strips and decorated with cowrie shells and feathers.
