The true 720 switches are tougher to find than the 720A
You are looking at a vintage pair of American Flyer 720 remote control switches.  You get a right, a left, and the
correct
controllers to operate them.  We are also supplying you with a
copy
of the original instructions. These were offered in the 1940's. In 1949, Flyer switched to the 720A.
Remember--with the 720 switches, it is important to have the correct controllers--the ones that are non-self-centering. These have the correct controllers.
Other differences between these and the later 720A switches include that
the 720 switches have a lever for manually throwing the switch;
the 720 has the motor housed under the long rectangular cover, separate from the light housing (the 720A put the motor under the light)
the 720 has the rounded lamp cover whereas the 720a has the more square one
the 720 has the area between the tracks above the two track switch open, whereas the 720A has it filled in
These are clean.  They work, but are somewhat noisy.
We have provided enlargeable pictures--please take advantage of them and look at every detail before bidding. If you need the 720A, check our other listings--we may have them there if you are fast enough.

Terms of Sale

We do accept returns within 30 days. Unless there was an error on our end, return shipping is paid by the buyer and the price of the item is refunded upon receipt of iback at Lone Star Trains. If we made a mistake, we pay the return shipping. Items must be in the same condition as when we shipped. We cannot accept returns on orders that were shipped new and then opened. If there is a problem, such as an error in description or condition, we accept returns within 30 days.
