Stunning Purple Milk Glass Covered Candy Bowl Dish Hobnail Mosser (Fenton Mold)

Description

This is a gorgeous Purple Milk Glass covered candy bowl or nut dish. The color is amazing and is a deep creamy purple.
Thin rivers of slightly darker and lighter color run through - similar to slag glass.
The official name is Eggplant.
Has the old-fashioned Melon pattern to the glass with hobnails. Very ornate.
Made from the original Fenton Art Glass mold.
Stands appx 5" tall to the top of the knob-handle.  The sides are 2-3/4" at the tallest and 2-1/2" where the cover sits down in. It is 4-1/4" across the inside. And flares to 5-1/8" across to the outside edges.
New and in mint condition.
An excellent example of handmade pressed glass at it's finest.
