    Description

Offered is this lovely semi-opaque pink glass biscuit jar or tea caddy that we believe belongs to the type of glassware known as Bristol glass. The jar or barrel is ball-shaped. It has been hand-painted on the front and back with purple and white flowers and foliage.
The silverplate collar at the mouth of the jar holds the handle and lid. It is marked EPNS (Electro Plate on Nickle Silver), made in England.
We believe this piece dates to the early 1900s.
This piece stands 5.5 inches high (14 cm) to the top of the finial and about 7.5 inches high (19 cm) to the top of the extended handle.
Very good used condition with no chips or cracks. Silverplate in good condition.
