Exquisite Antique Victorian Baby Infant Coat Silk,Net Lace, Baptismal

This is truly an exquisite child’s coat. The fabric, which I believe is silk shimmers in the light. The cape is finished in net lace and appliques. There is a small braided trim around the tiny sleeves. The coat is lined in a woven cotton fabric. It is in very good condition for its age. I have shown in the pics what frailties I have found. The top button is not original, there is a small age stain in the lining that is barely noticeable in the back of the garment, there is also some fraying around the neck of the coat. I did not see any holes in the lace, however there are loose threads around the bottom.
